Safety gear for every rider
We include an adult helmet for every seat in the machine. Goggles and gloves are not included, but they are available for purchase. Here is what to expect at pickup.
Helmets
Fitted for every rider in the machine before you leave. We size them properly at pickup. Adult sizes are included; youth helmets are available for purchase. Required for all passengers regardless of age.
Goggles
Not included, but available for purchase. Bring your own if you have them. Dust, debris, and roost are a real factor on most trails. Goggles matter more than most first-timers expect.
Gloves
Not included, but available for purchase. Gloves protect your hands and improve grip on the steering wheel, especially on longer rides.
Machine items included with every rental
Every UTV rental leaves our lot in good mechanical shape. We inspect machines between every rental. Here is what is included as part of the machine itself.
Whip flag
Included on every machine. Required at certain locations including Glamis and other dune areas. Makes you visible over crests and berms to other riders.
Fuel
Fuel is not included in the rental rate. Choose the $30 flat-rate fuel option per UTV, or pay per gallon for fuel on return.
Trail support
Every UTV rental comes with a trail support contact. If you get a flat, get stuck, or run into a mechanical issue on the trail, you have someone to call. We will talk through the situation and get you sorted as quickly as we can. We give you the support contact number at pickup. Save it in your phone before you head out.
UTVs are picked up and returned at our Vendor Row location. We do not deliver UTVs.
What a UTV rental costs
For a full breakdown of rental pricing, what changes the rate, and how deposits work, see our UTV rental pricing explained page. That page covers everything from day vs weekend rates to deposit mechanics and what is and is not included in the base rental rate.
What to bring yourself
We cover the helmets and the machine. Here is what you need to bring on your end.
Valid driver's license. Required for the driver. Passengers do not need one.
Closed-toe shoes for everyone in the machine. No flip flops, no sandals.
Goggles and gloves. They are not included with the rental, but they are available for purchase.
A physical credit card for the deposit hold (no cash or debit). Held at pickup and released within 7 days of return in good condition.
Water and snacks. Especially on full-day or multi-day trips. Trails do not have vending machines.
Sunscreen and layers. Conditions change fast in most riding areas.
That is it. Helmets and the whip flag are ready when you arrive.
FAQS
Does a UTV rental include a helmet?
