Nightly rates drop for longer stays: 4–5 nights, 6–9 nights and 10+ nights each cost less per night, down to $181.50 a night for a 26' Wildwood on a 10+ night trip. Every RV rental has a 3-night minimum (4 nights on most holidays, 3 at Halloween), and the required Basics package is priced on top of the nightly rate.

Plan to arrive before peak weekends since all campsites are first come, first served.
RV air conditioning units can typically reduce interior temperature by about 20 degrees compared to outside ambient air. Desert camping during extreme heat (over 100 degrees) can strain generators and cause AC systems to freeze up. We offer a diesel generator upgrade for the most reliable power during warmer months. Running rooftop AC excessively in extreme heat may cause the unit to malfunction.
Popular Glamis camping areas each have their own character. Newcomers renting an RV for a Glamis dunes trip often find Gecko Road or the Cement Flats easiest since they are simple drive-in spots. The Washes offer a more immersive dune camping experience but may require a 4×4 vehicle to access.

Safety comes first
Every machine is inspected and serviced before it leaves our lot. Tires, brakes, engine, and shifting all get checked. Before you ride, our team walks you through the controls and the dune safety basics. RV renters must be 21 or older with a valid ID and a physical credit card in their name that matches it. We have spent years in this terrain, so we can point you to the right areas for your skill level.
Clear policies
Weather
Glamis is a desert. We are closed in summer (rentals run October 16 to April 14), but warm days in the season can still affect generator and AC performance in RVs. Running a rooftop AC too hard can cause it to freeze up, so we share hot-weather tips at pickup and help you plan ride times around the heat. We do not cancel for normal desert conditions, so plan your water and gear accordingly.
Cancellations and deposits
Your 25% reservation deposit locks in your dates. Deposits are not refunded as cash or credit card, but cancellations or date changes can receive store credit: 2+ weeks before your rental start date: store credit for the full deposit. Less than 2 weeks, but at least 2 days before: store credit for half the deposit. 1 day before or same day: deposit forfeited, no store credit.
There are no refunds or credit for early returns, and any refund for an equipment problem is store credit only. The remaining balance and a $500 security hold (a hold on a physical credit card in the renter’s name, not a charge; no cash or debit) are due at delivery, and the hold releases within 7 days of a clean return.

Damage waiver
A damage waiver is available for our 250 ATVs at $39 per day. It covers physical damage with a $750 deductible. It never covers mechanical damage (belts, axles, clutches, engine, transmission) or liability.
